Bond Street serviced apartment
Mayfair, W1
The Bond Street Single
A one-bedroom apartment for two, on a quiet side street off Bond Street and four minutes from the station.
Bond Street Single
About the apartment
Cross Oxford Street at South Molton Lane and the noise drops within fifty paces. Georgian terraces replace the shopfronts, four minutes from Bond Street station yet, most weekday evenings, almost entirely still.
The apartment is on the second floor, with windows to the front. Herringbone oak runs underfoot, the bathroom is lined in hand-cut Carrara marble, and the fittings are brushed brass from a London foundry that has supplied the surrounding houses for three generations.
The building is one of the originals on the street: five storeys of Portland stone, restored to its 1820s detailing over two years and finished in 2022. The cornices were rebuilt by the original method, the sash windows stripped and reglazed for quiet without altering the streetscape, and a lift added behind the original staircase.
The apartment suits one resident or a couple settling in for a month or longer. Most guests are between assignments, between homes, or between countries. What they share is a preference for somewhere that stays quiet, with a named contact who will take a delivery, book a table you would not otherwise get, and then leave you alone if that is what you prefer.
I went round on a grey Tuesday in May, which is the honest way to see a flat.
The living room still held the light at four in the afternoon. It faces the right way for it. The bedroom is set to the back, away from the street, and it is genuinely quiet once the door is shut.
The stairs up from the lobby are handsome and there are a fair few of them. The lift is round the side if you would rather. The kitchen is the best room in the apartment, and the marble in the bathroom is the real thing, cool underfoot first thing in the morning.

The details, plainly stated.
A Mayfair address commands certain expectations. Here is exactly what this building is, what it offers, and what we do not pretend it to be. Read it before you enquire.
Not a hotel. Not a serviced office. Not a holiday let. Not a property you may sublet, list, or use for events. A residence, kept as one.
What is not perfect.
An honest account of the apartment's limits. We would rather you read it before you enquire than discover it on arrival.
-
There are a lot of stairs. The building is period, so the main staircase is the route up. The lift sits round the side of the lobby rather than on it.
-
One bedroom, one bathroom. Comfortable for two. Tight if both of you work from home and need a desk each.
-
The kitchen is open to the living room. It is well equipped, but it is not a separate room, so cooking carries into the living space.
-
The living room faces the street. Quiet on weekday evenings, with some daytime activity. The bedroom is at the back and stays quiet.
-
No outdoor space. No balcony and no terrace. Hyde Park is a fifteen-minute walk.

-
01
Meet and greet
A member of the team meets you at the apartment, at a time that suits you, and shows you how everything works.

Your named contact
One person looks after your stay. They are reachable on WhatsApp throughout, for a restaurant, a theatre ticket, transport, or a repair.
-
03
Housekeeping
A weekly clean for stays over a month, and more often on request. Linen and towels changed at each visit.
-
04

-
05
Departure
Checkout is up to 11am, or later if we agree it in advance. No charge for a late checkout we have agreed.
What guests say.
The Bond Street Single is newly listed, so it has no reviews of its own yet. These are from guests across our London residences. We will not borrow another apartment's reviews and pass them off as this one's.
The flat was exactly as described, which is rarer than it should be. My contact sorted a late delivery without my asking twice.
We stayed between houses and ended up extending twice. Quiet, central, and someone always picked up the phone.
I work odd hours and the building was easy to come and go from. The weekly clean was thorough and never in the way.
I booked from abroad with some nerves. The video walkthrough was honest and the apartment matched it on arrival.
